Our Story and Mission: F&R Home Consulting
We are Gabriela (a lawyer) and Diego (a journalist), two Chileans who were seeking a change. Although we had a good life, we dreamed of an existence with more peace, quality of life, and time. That is why, two years ago, we got married, sold everything, and embarked on the search for that dream in Sardinia. And we found it!
However, settling in was not an easy journey. We had to thoroughly research our location, find a home to live in (in such a touristic island, the rental and purchase market is complex), and manage everything in a language we barely knew. Specifically, one of us had to navigate the process of applying for the residency permit, all while tackling the language barrier.
That experience is the foundation of F&R Home Consulting.
We are your dedicated relocation and property partner, specialized in the beautiful island of Sardinia. We founded this service precisely after recognizing that the significant challenges we personally faced are common hurdles for every foreigner dreaming of a life here. The system is complex, the processes are opaque, and finding reliable, multi-lingual support that understands both the regulatory requirements and the local culture is incredibly difficult. We saw a clear need for a single, trustworthy point of contact to simplify this entire journey.
